In addition to fellowships, lectures, workshops, the Jakarta library, and web resources, AIFIS works to develop and promote Indonesian studies in a number of other ways.  In order to help promote the work of current and former fellows, AIFIS strives to develop and promote their publications, exhibitions and events.  For information on publications by AIFIS Fellows, please refer to Library and Web Resources, or follow either News and Events or the Facebook page for more information on current activities.  The American Institute for Indonesia also works with academic programs around the country to help develop curricular initiatives and increase scholarly and critical understanding about Indonesia.
