👤 Speaker Profile: Walker DePuy is a postdoctoral fellow at the Asia Research Institute, NUS. He received AIFIS-CAORC fellowship in 2024. He holds a Ph.D. in Integrative Conservation and Anthropology from the University of Georgia. His research focuses on the politics of conservation in mosaic landscapes. His current project brings together Cornell University, UNC Chapel Hill, Universitas Mulawarman, and local communities to examine Indonesia’s capital relocation as a case study in environmental governance and justice. His work has appeared in Conservation Biology and World Development, and he has consulted for CIFOR and WWF.
